I traveled through Guatemala 25 years ago and had always said I wanted to go back to learn Spanish through language immersion classes.
Unfortunately, I have not made it back, but when I met someone that had just returned from living in Guatemala and doing Latin Spanish Academy it was my opportunity to finally commit to learning Spanish. I have tried to remember Spanish from college classes and apps but it has not worked for me. I have been taking one on one classes with Mariajose for only a short while and already I feel more confident and much joy in learning Spanish. My teacher has personalized her teaching to fit my level and style of learning. She is extremely positive, patient, and encouraging. Most of all, I love the cultural exchange!
